If the rumors are correct, one of the biggest and main changes we’ll be seeing in the Apple Watch this year would be its design. Apple is rumored to do away with curved edges and adopt a flatter and sharper design, similar to the design language they’ve been using in its iPad and iPhones in recent years.

Of course, none of those can be confirmed right now, but it seems that over in China they aren’t waiting. According to a series of photos shared on Twitter by Majin Bu and DuanRui, cloned designs have already been popping up over in China where they are being sold, although presumably these run their own operating system and not watchOS.

These clones do look a lot like the renders, but as 9to5Mac points out, since these clones are based on renders and schematics, they do lack a certain attention to detail. However, as Majin Bu points out, these are apparently being sold to case makers where they are priced at $60 each.

This would allow case and accessory makers to get ahead of Apple and start producing accessories like cases or straps for the watch once it hits the market. However, there is a risk that the rumors of a redesign could be wrong, but we suppose that’s a chance that these companies have to take.
